JMC led communication efforts for Nike’s 2021 “Yard Runners” campaign, an experiential extension of Nike’s HBCU initiatives that widely recognizes pioneering Black student-athletes. Then, in only the second iteration of “YardRunners”, JMC garnered over 74.7 Million views, helping to raise over $200,000. A monumental media push for JMC, the team secured placement at a multitude of mid and top tier outlets: The link, Yahoo! Sports, Black Enterprise, Femi Magazine, Yahoo! Finance, and CR FASHION BOOK. JMC's holistic approach to representation included a national press campaign–100 outlets total–press release distribution, comprehensive digital engagement strategies, activation pitching, 24/7 crisis and reputation management, script writing, and a bevy of impactful efforts invisible to the eye.
